Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to understand how we work and what you can expect from our guidance.
How is Arway different from other guidance services?+
At ARWAY, guidance is neither theoretical nor standardized.
The support is provided by Armand and Jay, who have themselves gone through the most demanding pathways in the French system: CPGE, BUT, top engineering schools, HEC Paris Grande École Program, and selective admissions.
Their approach is based on lived experience of choices, competitions, and selection processes, and translates into comprehensive support: orientation strategy definition, application preparation (CV, cover letters), and demanding mock interviews, tailored to target schools.
They focus on what matters, providing concrete, current, and directly actionable answers to enable informed decisions, without unnecessary steps or wasted time.
What format do the sessions take?+
Exchanges take place mainly via videoconference, directly with Armand and Jay.
This format enables:
flexible,
personalized,
in-depth support,
while ensuring real availability and continuous follow-up, wherever you are.
When should I start thinking about orientation?+
It's normal not to know early what you want to do. Asking yourself questions later is fine, and can even be healthy. Starting to explore at the end of middle school or beginning of high school lets you discover options calmly and evolve your project over time.
How long does the support last?+
PrepARWAY is a long-term support that extends over several months.
It can start at any time of the year and continues until key milestones of the current pathway:
competition results, Parcoursup decisions, admissions, school or orientation choices.
The goal is not to provide quick answers, but to build a solid strategy, then support you in its implementation, step by step.
How does ARWAY ensure the effectiveness of the support?+
The effectiveness of the support rests on a simple requirement:
only advise based on what has actually been experienced.
Armand and Jay combine:
their direct experience of selective pathways,
a structured method,
continuous follow-up over time.
Each support is adjusted to the student's profile, objectives, and deadlines, with regular monitoring of decisions made.
Concrete feedback from students and families, as well as results achieved, constitute the best proof of this effectiveness.
Is this relevant if I’m not aiming for a “grande école”?+
Absolutely. Arway’s goal isn’t to push every student toward the same paths, but to help you find the one that fits you best—top schools, universities, technical programmes, bachelor degrees, and more.
